Are you looking for a full time role in a Central Manchester Primary School?

Teaching Personnel are working closely as a recruitment partner with a small 1 form entry primary school in Stretford, M16. The Roman Catholic Primary School are looking for a Full time Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in year 1 that has Autism. The role will be for the full academic year and potentially ongoing into the next academic year depending on how the role works out.

This 1 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in Central Manchester has recently had a change of headship for this academic year. The new head has come from a school in Salford after 5 years experience. During his time there the head took the school from special measures to good as of their most recent Ofsted report during the last academic year. The Central Manchester Primary also received the grading "good" in their most recent Ofsted report during the end of the last academic year. The successful candidate for the role will be surrounded by an experienced leadership team that will offer support throughout the role.

The pupil is currently in year 1 and has received 1:1 support throughout their time at the school. The pupil is none threatening and responds well to encouragement and support. The pupils needs support both socially and academically and the school is looking for someone to take over from the great work the current 1:1 support TA is doing. Due to increased university commitments the current TA is no longer able to continue with the role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
