Do you have previous experience with 1:1 support with Autism?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Roman Catholic Primary school in Manchester, Wythenshawe to help with the recruitment for the academic year. The Primary school are looking for someone who can offer 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism.

The pupil is currently in a year 3 class and needs someone to help offer support throughout the day both out of class on a 1:1 basis and also support during the class with work and staying focused. The child is non threatening he is just struggling socially and academically. The school are looking for someone who has previous experience with 1:1 Autism support as they want to give the pupil the best support they possibly can and feel the experience within the position is crucial. Being read, write inc trained as well as being familiar with Singapore maths is highly sought after, although not entirely necessary.

The school is a 1 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in Wythenshawe. Alongside 5 other Roman Catholic Schools in a cluster. The school has recently been graded "good" by Ofsted, a grading the school as maintained for a number of year. The school has a warm and welcoming feel as soon as you step through the doors. The Head at the school is a tireless worker that is always trying better the school, the staff and the pupils in every aspect.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
