1:1 SEN Support TA Required, South Manchester Primary School, Wythenshawe (M22)

  • Prior experience supporting children with SEN is essential

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a 'GOOD' primary school in the Wythenshawe area of South Manchester (M22). This 'GOOD' primary school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in their 'warm and caring' school on a full time basis starting in January. The head teacher and senior leaders of the school are looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to work with a child in Year 3 on a 1:1 basis. The child has ADHD and ASC and needs a dedicated teaching assistant who will understand their needs and work to enhance their learning experiences through out the whole of the school day. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has prior experience supporting children with similar needs who can adapt their style of supporting learning to suit the specific needs of the child. The successful candidate will receive constant support from the schools SENCO and class teacher.

The role is to work in a larger than average primary school and the head teacher and dedicated staging team aim to 'provide enriching experiences' for all children at all times to enable to them to 'develop into creative thinkers' who strive for the best. The ideal candidate will be flexible, approachable and willing to get stuck in to all aspects of school life! This FULL TIME, SEN Teaching Assistant role will start in January or once all the relevant vetting checks have been completed.
