**SEN Teaching Assistant required**

If you have previous experience working with SEN, or working in Education, then you could be a perfect candidate for a Teaching Assistant role at this SEN specialist school.

The school are providers of care and education for children aged 3-19 years old with Moderate, Severe and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD, PMLD), some pupils have additional needs such as sensory impairment and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant you'll be working with young people who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of learning in order to reach their full educational potential. You will be teaching either individuals or small groups of pupils within, or outside the class. A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.

No qualifications are necessary, though if you have previous experience or feel confident in at least 3 of the following then don't hesitate to get in touch…

• Youth/Community work experience
• Youth Offending Service experience
• Support/Care Work
• Special Education Needs Experience (either within a work or a personal environment)
• Experience in assisting people with social, emotional and mental health issues (either within a work or a personal environment)
• Sports coaching, qualifications or experience
• Mentoring/Tutoring
• Teaching/Learning Support Assistance
• Challenging behaviour outside of a school environment
• Outgoing personality
• Proactive
• Degree in Psychology or education.

Teaching personnel will be offering a very competitive rate of pay (£55-£70)

You must be available Full Time between Monday to Friday (0830 - 1530).

You will also have the unique opportunity of completing additional training to increase your knowledge and skill set. Training such as Autism Awareness and Team Teach are available through our CPD Academy.
