I have been at Teaching Personnel since May 2014, progressing from a trainee Recruitment Consultant to a Branch Manager. I have experience working with all types of SEN schools, however I specialise in working with schools that cater for students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and Autism.
Prior to working for Teaching Personnel, I gained a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology and Criminology. I also worked in a residential care home supporting teenage girls with emotional and behavioural difficulties and an SEN school that caters for children and young people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. As a result of this, I do completely understand SEN settings. In addition, I am also a Registered Autism Trainer so I regularly train people on how best to support those on the Autism Spectrum. I believe this has also given me a unique insight into the needs of the schools we work with.
I have worked exceptionally hard to provide our schools with quality staff and find enjoyable jobs for our candidates and I am determined to continue doing this and open another SEN branch in the near future!
