I am a graduate from the University of St Mark and St John having read for a degree in Education Studies with Physical Education.  Whilst reading for my degree I completed several teaching placements across primary, SEN and Secondary Schools in Devon.  I was instantly drawn to the concepts of Psychology of Education and based my dissertation topic around this.

After finishing at “Marjon” I secured a graduate role at an independent school in Somerset where I taught P.E to both KS2 and KS3 and was a house parent for the junior girl’s boarding house and oversaw the welfare of students in the senior girl’s boarding house. My role also extended to organising and accompanying boarding students on trips at weekends and running additional activities such as sport, cooking, crafts and chill out sessions leading up to exams. This was truly a fantastic role which not only extended my knowledge of education and teaching experiences, but also made me more culturally aware as a high proportion of students were from overseas.

After relocating back to Southampton in 2015, I joined Teaching Personnel as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant serving schools across West Dorset and Wiltshire. In 2016 I shifted to support schools across Hampshire and in March 2017 was appointed Branch Manager of Hampshire Secondary. I have two fantastic consultants Lucy and Katie with a third, Jim joining us in June.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, am a religious Glastonbury Festival goer and am currently planning for my wedding in Santorini in 2019!

I don't currently have any roles live. Please follow me using any of the social links here, or come back to this page later to check for any new roles.
