Initial Teacher Training (ITT) – Fee Funded Route

A graduate-route training programme for those not yet employed by a school. Trainees study with BPN to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while your school benefits from an extra member of staff at no salary cost.

  • Hosted by your school but delivered by BPN.
  • Trainee teachers join as an additional member of staff.
  • No salary costs for your school, students are fee-funded.
  • A chance to nurture new teaching talent in your classrooms.

Host an ITT Student Teacher


Option 2:
Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (PGTA)

A salaried apprenticeship for graduates who are already employed by your school. Ideal for upskilling TAs, HLTAs, or unqualified teachers with degrees. Apprentices earn while they learn, and on completion, achieve QTS and a Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship.

  • Delivered by BPN with on-the-ground support from Teaching Personnel.
  • Upskill existing staff members (TAs, HLTAs, unqualified teachers with degrees).
  • Apprentices remain employed by your school and continue contributing while training.
  • A sustainable way to retain and invest in your workforce.
