Primary teachers in Cardiff are now able to use a new illustrated book that helps them educate pupils about how to reduce their carbon footprint.
Max, Bell and Casper Save the World, written by 2009 climate change champion Anna Surridge, is being distributed to all 102 primary schools across the Welsh capital.
The bilingual book, which is also available to download from the Wales Carbon Footprint website, follows three characters to depict the small deeds that everyone can take to reduce their carbon footprint and tackle climate change.
"I wanted to give a new view on climate change. I wanted it to be fun and interesting for children and I thought that the superhero theme was a great way of achieving this," the author said about the book.
In other news, primary teachers in Portsmouth are using breakfast packs to inform pupils about the benefits of healthy eating, according to the Portsmouth News.
