Teaching at a historic Lincolnshire school is set to move into the new century after local officials decided to give the green light for its multi-million pound revamp, according to a local news report.
Hartsholme Primary School's 1950s buildings are going to be demolished and rebuilt as part of a revolutionary £4.5 million project than won approval at a planning and regulatory committee meeting at Lincolnshire county council, the Lincolnshire Echo has reported.
"It's fantastic news, it's great news for the school and for the community - we are really excited," head teacher Carl Jarvis was quoted as saying in the Lincolnshire Echo.
The head teacher, who played a key role in the design process, added that the school was also looking to get an adventure play centre built.
