A photography exhibition is being organised to commemorate the 100th anniversary of a small school in the north-west, a local news report has said.
The event, which will take place on April 4, will feature photos and other memorabilia of Salterforth Primary School and its pupils from the last century.
Former pupil Muriel Pollard, 81, teamed up with Salterforth Action Group to put together the milestone event for the historic school, which was first built in 1844 but moved to its present building in 1910, the Lancashire Telegraph has reported.
The organisers are asking former pupils to donate photographs for inclusion in the exhibition.
Head teacher Gill Ackroyd said the school was fully supportive of the exhibition to celebrate its "rich" history.
