One primary teacher has vowed to make bad dreams a thing of the past for pupils at her local school.

Seniha Ozer, 28, from Fairgreen, Enfield, has written a new book which she is soon to publish, designed to help primary pupils at St Paul's Church of England School where she teaches overcome their fear of things that go bump in the night.

Ms Ozer told the Enfield Independent: "As a school teacher, I often hear the kids talking about their nightmares, so I knew it was something that affected everyone.

"I've never written a book before, but I do hope it might be the start of something."

The book follows the adventures of a young girl named Poppy who has bad dreams but manages to banish them forever with the help of her grandfather, who possesses magical powers.

St Paul's School is located at Winchmore Hill, Enfield, London and has a roll call of approximately 420 pupils.ADNFCR-2164-ID-19603986-ADNFCR
