A team of special educational needs teachers in Oxfordshire may be in a celebratory mode after their school achieved special recognition from Ofsted.
The Frank Wise School in Banbury has become the only SEN school in England to be awarded an 'outstanding' rating in all but one category during the education watchdog's latest round of school inspections.
Ofsted's report said: "All pupils make exceptional progress right from the Early Years Foundation Stage, where children get the best possible start to school, through to the new sixth form, which prepares students very well for the future."
SEN teachers at the school are responsible for the education of 101 pupils aged two to 19, all of whom have severe learning difficulties.
The only category the school was not awarded the top grade in was attendance, for which it achieved a grade two ranking.
Teachers from the Frank Wise School were recently named runners up in the Secondary Learner Experience category at the Becta ICT Excellence awards in Sheffield.
