A school in Coventry has allowed its students to get involved training teachers how to manage their time.

North Brook Road School, Coundon, is taking part in a new life-coaching initiative, which sees 12 children work as assistants.

After having sat a four-day course they are now expected to help both students and staff better organise their lives.

Leader of the coaching project, Nicky Broadbent, says: "There is a lovely simplicity about getting advice from a student.

"It makes me realise that adults can overcomplicate things sometimes. And because it's coming from a pupil it's not threatening," he added.

Life coaching is often taught in the higher corporate echelons and according to practitioner Tim Brownson, it can help you "constantly strive for improvement on your road to reaching whatever exciting goals you have set yourself".ADNFCR-2164-ID-19214994-ADNFCR
