Those in teaching jobs will now be able to take advantage of a brand new resource to help them plan educational trips for their pupils.

School staff can use the Learn About London Theatre website to investigate which West End shows will have the best educational impact for their pupils, according to the Stage.

The site, which is due to be officially launched on May 9th, will allow teachers to search for the most relevant deals for their students, as they will be categorised by age and curriculum.

Susan Whiddington, director of Mousetrap Theatre Projects - which developed the resource alongside the Society of London Theatre, told the news source: "The new website for teachers is a really wonderful new educational tool - providing complete information on all that London theatre offers and the range of educational opportunities available."

School staff will be able to locate information quickly through the website, which will suit their busy teaching jobs, she added.

A new online resource to help teachers plan lessons about the weather and climate change was recently launched by the Met Office.
