School staff from across the education spectrum will be attending the annual Education Show in Birmingham at the end of the month.
Those in
teaching jobs will have the chance to explore a number of initiatives on offer for schools, in fields including exercise, ICT and science, reports the Independent.
A new feature area at the event titled the Big Bang, will allow teachers to learn more about how to make science teaching more engaging for their pupils.
This will give them the opportunity to watch live experiments as well as take part in some hands-on fun.
Marketing manager at show organisers Emap Education Keith Clifford told the news source: "There is a certain fear about standing up in front of a class and doing an experiment."
He added that teachers can watch the displays at the event and "take that inspiration back to their schools".
A spokesman for the Training and Development Agency for Schools recently noted that there is "always a need" for people to train in maths and science teaching, due to a high number of vacancies in these fields.
