Plans for the next phase in a north-west sixth form college's multimillion pound makeover have reportedly been revealed.
According to the Lancashire Evening Post, the newly developed Runshaw College will include a £1 million glass-fronted building to house a cafe, private work spaces and a purpose-built multi-faith centre.
The release of these details follows the completion of the college's two-storey Mardale restaurant and remodelled science labs.
Deputy principal John Morrison told the local newspaper the work on the latest phase was expected to start before Christmas and be completed by the end of July.
"This next phase of our development represents our commitment to providing our student community with a learning experience that will remain second to none," he noted.
The college's website claims Runshaw has a 100 per cent pass rate for A-levels, with 71 per cent achieving A and B grades.
